Northwest Physio+ has Opened a New Clinic in Whenuapai

At Northwest Physio+, we specialise in quality, hands-on treatment alongside functional rehabilitation from experienced therapists. We will unlock the source of your pain and get you back to full function. ​Our new clinic in Whenuapai has recently been opened.

Services we offer at NorthWest Physio +:

Musculoskeletal Physio: Offering both hands on manual therapy and exercise based rehabilitation. We can assess/diagnose and treat various musculoskeletal conditions using up to date evidence.

PINC and STEEL Cancer rehabilitation: Physio led cancer rehabilitation program to suit any stage in recovery. The sessions can include a combination of services including: Manual physiotherapy, graduated resistance training, clinical Pilates, fatigue management and exercise prescription. Can be fully funded through the PINC and STEEL charity. https://www.pincandsteel.com/

Careway: fully-funded ACC service aimed at providing faster service to injured New Zealanders. This program is only available to patients with specific injuries to the ankle/knee/spine/shoulder. Our physio will make an assessment to decide if a client should be on Careway. https://www.careway.co.nz/

ACC Contracts (Vocational, Pain Management & Training for Independence): Our physiotherapist provide ACC contracts in both the clinic and community. The physiotherapists work with clients to deliver pain education and exercise-based rehabilitation to address patient needs.

Acupuncture: We have an experienced traditional acupuncturist in clinic. She is an ACC provider and specialises in all things acupuncture as well as cupping and moxibustion treatment. She is unable to register claims with ACC.

Neuromuscular Massage Therapy: ​​Qualified Neuromuscular Therapist having
completed a 3-year Bachelor of Therapeutic and Sports Massage degree. Nicky has professional skills to manage complex soft tissue rehabilitation.
